Meeting Point: Near Noksapyeong station (#629)
Every year World Read Aloud Day calls global attention to the importance of reading aloud and sharing stories. World Read Aloud Day 2017 will be held on Thursday, February 16th, so let’s go to the local library in Haebongchon area of Yongsan-gu called Yongam English Library for Children (YELC). We will meet in the “Little Bear Zone” where parents can read with their children (recommended age 5 and under). Other “zones” are available for older children.
World Read Aloud Day motivates children, teens, and adults worldwide to celebrate the power of words and creates a community of readers taking action to show the world that the right to literacy belongs to all people. World Read Aloud Day is celebrated by millions of people in more than 100 countries thanks to people like you who participate and spread the word across the globe!
