Tour: Korean Antique Market Dapsimni
When: Wed 11 Jan 2017 from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm
Meeting Point: near Dapsimni station (#542)

Registration ends: Jan 8

If you want to find items you see in Seoul’s antique streets and shops then this tour is for you. An area of 150 shops awaits at Dapsimni Antique Shopping Complex. You can find beautifully embroidered cushions, antique wooden treasures, household items from the past, chests of drawers, moon vases, ginger jars and a lot of other decorative items. Only a few meters away from the subway station we will be greeted by old stone lanterns, animals and pagodas.

Our tour guide, Yvonne Stehle, is a trinket hunting expert. She will probably find things for you which you weren’t even looking for… If you want to splurge or bargain hunt, this is a good place to start.

Yvonne Stehle is of German origin and has lived in Seoul since 2011. Interior design, crafting and gathering things from all over the world are her passions. She can ignite your passion for gathering things that tell the story of your life abroad.  Or perhaps yours will be a collection of items from everyday life, art and antiques. As she believes, “It is all in the mix!”
