Meeting Point: near Hongdae station (#239)
Join us for a walk around Seonyudo Park, a unique urban park in which water purification structures are repurposed into gardens, ponds and even a water playground. This beautiful combination of industrial past and green present make Seonyudo a popular gathering place for locals. The park’s location, an island west of Yeoido, provides exceptional panoramic views of the Han River, mountains and skyscrapers. This is a place to which you will want to return with your friends and family.
From the subway station, we will take a bus one stop to the park entrance. Our walk through the park will include exploring the gardens and structures while taking in the beauty and history of the natural surroundings and renovations. You may bring a lunch or a snack to enjoy at the park. Afterward, we will walk the pedestrian Seonyudo Rainbow Bridge back to Yeouido.
