Tours
The Tours Committee offers opportunities for SIWA members, their families, and non-members to participate in organized experiences in Seoul and Korea. Through these cultural, artistic and recreational tours, participants can learn about Korea, and make and deepen friendships.
Tour Coordinators are all SIWA-member volunteers.  You can meet our Tour Coordinators on our Tours and Interest Groups page.

Join us walking the "Sansa trail" through the beautiful forest of the Samgaksan mountain, behind Seongbuk-dong. The temples and the forest should be beautiful at this time of the year, with trees starting to bloom. We will also have a great view of the city.

Join us for a visit to the West Sea Island of Seongmodo. We will travel from Seoul in private cars, and take the ferry from Ganghwado to Seokmodo. Please bring a snack, if you wish, and be prepared for the day's weather.

Professor Mason leads a walking tour to Sajik Park to view Joseon-Dynasty altars and royal relics, the shrine for mythical Founding-King Dan-gun Wanggeon, and Ingwa-sa, a hub for shamanic shrines and practice. Participants walk up steep slopes and climb stairs in urban and park settings.
